I-Park is very pleased to welcome the public to our FREE, family-friendly Open Trails Family Edition event on Saturday, August 22. The grounds and a select number of art/nature trails will be open from 2 – 6 pm for strolling, hiking, and exploring. Art projects and creative activities for the entire family will be available at sites around campus, along with live music in the Outdoor Performance Area!
In accordance with the State of Connecticut Reopening Guidelines, our Open Trails will practice social distancing procedures during check-in and throughout the event to ensure our participants’ safety. Visitors are asked to wear a mask during activities where they are unable to maintain 6 feet of distance from others – however, face masks will not be required while hiking on our trails. I-Park is dedicated to everyone’s personal health and is eager to welcome the families for a safe, relaxing afternoon of art and nature!
Outdoor enthusiasts of all ages are welcome to attend this FREE, family-friendly event. However, reservations in advance are REQUIRED on Eventbrite. For additional information, write email@example.com or call 860-873-2468.
Due to the fragility of the artwork and the natural features at I-Park, pets are not permitted on the I-Park grounds.
Important: You will be agreeing to our Visitor Code of Conduct when you register for Open Trails.
