Among The Tides, a solo exhibition by Elizabeth Ellenwood on marine debris and the importance of ocean conservation.

Ellenwood is a current graduate student in the School of Fine Arts at the University of Connecticut. She uses her knowledge in photography to visually explore and bring attention to critical environmental issues. Both reverent and timely, Among the Tides makes visible the debris polluting local waterways, and challenges us to act to help our oceans.

Exhibit open Thursday – Sunday 12:00pm-4:00pm

Opening reception for exhibit of works by CT Sea Grant Arts Support Award recipient Elizabeth Ellenwood, who creates images of plastic trash using historic and modern techniques to call attention to global ocean pollution. The exhibit will be on display from Jan. 23 to March 15. The gallery is open Thursday to Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
