Hygienic’s annual holiday show, “Art=Gift” is back! This year’s show features handcrafted, affordable art by local and regional artists! Showcasing special pieces with gift-giving in mind, all works are priced to be especially affordable for the holiday season.

Johnson Brunetti proudly presents Holiday Light Fantasia, Connecticut’s must-see family light show, as it returns for the 2019 holiday season! A beautiful collection of over one million lights is situated along a nearly two-mile drive through Goodwin Park at 1130 Maple Avenue on the Hartford/Wethersfield, Connecticut line. The lighted animations celebrate not only Christmas, but also Hanukkah, New Year’s, Three Kings Day, and the winter season. This illuminated drive-through display opens on Thanksgiving Day and runs nightly through New Year’s Day from 5 pm to 9 pm each Sunday through Thursday and 5pm to 10pm Fridays and Saturdays. In addition to the light show, children can visit Santa on Friday and Saturday evenings from 5pm to 8pm, free with show admission. For extra fun, find Flurry the dog hidden among the lights, visit holidaylightfantasia.org and enter to win a new Samsung Galaxy Tablet!

Holiday Light Fantasia not only shares seasonal cheer but also helps to welcome thousands of children from Connecticut to the Channel 3 Kids Camp. Ticket sales make it possible for children to attend camp regardless of economic, physical, or developmental ability. Channel 3 Kids Camp will be hosting an exhibition to celebrate its 110th anniversary. The event is from 6pm-8pm on Wednesday, January 15th, 2020. The exhibition will showcase photos and memorabilia from the 110 years of camp history. Hor d’oeuvres and beverages will be served. This is a free event and open to the public.

Channel 3 Kids Camp believes that ALL children deserve a Kids Camp experience. Its mission is to provide fun year-round opportunities to children of all abilities, families, and communities through educational and recreational programs that promote diversity, acceptance, and environmental appreciation.
